Looking back toward Lake Placid

Friday we drove through the Adirondacks, through Lake Placid, then on to Plattsburgh, NY, where we took a ferry across Lake Champlain to Vermont. The scenery was beautiful and the weather perfect. If anyone finds themselves in need of a hotel near Montpelier, I highly recommend the Comfort Inn & Suites at Maplewood. The amenities were above and beyond the typical Comfort Inn.
